Creamy Carrot Soup Recipe

Carrot soup with yellow lentils is easy to make but hearty and very healthy.

Ingredients
  • Carrots: 400 grams
  • Onion: 1
  • Milk or cream: 1 cup
  • Yellow Lentils: 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions

1. Cut the carrots and onion.

2. Add 3 teacups of water and the yellow lentils and cook in a pressure cooker or in multi cooker. If you don’t have either, just set it to boil in a pan.

3. Once cooked, whisk in a blender and strain.

4. Heat the milk and add to the soup. Mix well.

5. Add salt and pepper.

6. Serve hot.
