Mee Hoon Recipe

Mee Hoon Recipe is a delicious dish of noodles and vegetables which you can eat as a snack or as a meal.

Cooking Time and Serve Estimate for Mee Hoon Recipe

Cooking Time : 15 min.
Preparation Time : 15 min.

Serves 4 to 6.

Ingredients for making Mee Hoon Recipe

1 packet (100 grams) chow noodles
1 carrot, cut into long strips
1 sliced onion
1 sliced cucumber
1 capsicum, sliced lengthwise
a few spinach stems
1/2 teaspoon Ajinomoto powder
1/2 teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoons refined oil
salt to taste

To be ground into a paste

4 cloves garlic
4 red chillies

To serve

2 teaspoons chilli oil
cucumber slices
chopped spring onions

Method for preparing Mee Hoon Recipe

1. Heat the remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil and fry the paste for a few minutes.

2. Add the carrot, onion, cucumber, spinach stems and Ajinomoto powder and fry again for 2 minutes.

3. Add the fried vegetables, sugar and salt to the fried noodles and mix well.

4. Top with the chilli oil, surround with cucumber slices, sprinkle chopped spring onions on top and serve hot.

For the noodles

1. Boil the noodles.

2. Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil and fry the boiled noodles.
