Chimichangas Recipe

Deep fried burritos with a filling of refried beans, lettuce, cottage cheese accompanied with sour cream and guacamole.

Ingredients for making Chimichangas Recipe

6 flour tortillas (9" i.e. 225 mm. diameter)
refried beans
oil for deep frying

 

To be mixed into a filling in Chimichangas

6 lettuce leaves, shredded
6 green onions
2 tomatoes, chopped
100 grams cottage cheese (paneer), chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
salt to taste

 

Accompaniments in Chimichangas Recipe

sour cream
guacamole
chopped tomato

Method for making Chimichangas Recipe

1.

Toasts the bread slices.

2.

Mix the carrot, paneer, tomato, green chilli, coriander, butter and salt. Divide into three.

3.

Place one portion of the mixture on each toast. Heat in an oven for a few minutes.

4.

Serve Chimichangas hot.
