Orange Sesame Tabouleh Salad Recipe

A delightful orange-sesame flavoured broken wheat salad.

Preparation Time : 15 minutes.

Serves 4.

Ingredients for making Orange Sesame Tabouleh Salad Recipe

1 cup broken wheat (dalia)
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
2 tablespoons toasted sesame (til) seeds
2 spring onions, chopped
1 tomato, diced
1/2 cup parsley, finely chopped
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons orange squash
salt to taste

For the garnish Orange Sesame Tabouleh Salad

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Method for preparing Orange Sesame Tabouleh Salad:

1. Cook the broken wheat, in 1 1/2 cups of water for 10 minutes till it is tender.

2. Drain and pour cold water over to cool the broken wheat. Drain again and keep aside.

3. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving so that all the flavours blend.
