Ingredients for making Crackling Wontons with Strawberry Ice-Cream Recipe

1 recipe strawberry ice-cream
1 cup (200 gms.) fresh cream
1/3 cup powdered sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla essence
12 strawberries, quartered

For the wonton wrappers

1. Deep fry each wonton wrapper in hot oil for a few seconds till they are golden brown.

2. Cool and store in an airtight container.

For the wonton wrappers

12 (25 mm. x 25 mm. (3" x 3")) wonton wrappers
oil to deep fry

Method for preparing Crackling Wontons with Strawberry Ice-Cream Recipe

1. Whisk the cream, powdered sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl till it doubles in volume and forms soft peaks.

2. Fill into a piping bag and keep refrigerated till required.

3. Place a wonton wrapper on a serving plate and pipe out some cream on it.

4. Top with some strawberry pieces and sprinkle with some icing sugar.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to make two more layers.

6. Serve with three small scoops of ice-cream.

7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 to make 4 more plates.
